This gallery contains a select group of photos of Puerto Rican coqui frogs of the genus Eleutherodactylus. I worked for approximately 10 years on the biology and ecology of these frogs. It was during those years that I had the chance to take many photographs of these frogs, some of them are very rare. For example, here you will find photographs of the new coquí frog from Puerto Rico, the Coquí Llanero (Eleutherodactylus juanariveroi). It takes time, patience, the right equiment, and a lot of luck to get some good photographs of these small frogs.
